If you are using an off-site storage, then you recognize
how absolutely critical it is that your backup process
works. It must be regular, reliable and recovery
procedures must be as straightforward as possible. FGE
can provide you with Data Escrow, if you are using an
off-site storage. FGE Data Escrow is tailored to meet your needs, whether regulatory requirements or internal requirements. We provide additional security for key portions of backup data with third party custody. FGE Data Escrow involves the following: At a regular interval (daily/weekly/monthly), a snapshot of specified data is made from your offsite storage for escrow. The escrow data is encrypted with a private key accessible only to a FGE consultant. The encrypted escrow data is replicated to another offsite storage server accessible only to FGE. Optionally, monthly or quarterly, the escrow data is copied to write-once media, (CD-ROM or DVD-ROM) and stored in a secure climate controlled location.
